Jason Higgins, lead builder. If he's not hard at work, he's probably down on Martha's Vineyard chilling out at Lucy Vincent Beach in Chilmark:
Mike Dunne: CEO of Dunne & Calder, and General Contractor of the SunCottage project. Mike has to be one of the easiest guys to work with you'll ever meet. He and Kevin Calder, his partner, have overseen numerous projects all around Woodstock. Even Michael J. Fox's old house just up the street from us!
Dan O'Connell: His son and mine are good friends. Plays a mean banjo at Killarney's Pub and know Native American history inside out:
Shawn Newcity: One of the finest carpenters you'll ever get to know:
John: Jim Farrell's assistant excavator:
In October we met with Darren McCullough, Woodstock's renowned stone mason. Here's a sketch of the ideas for the patio and staircase he's planning on building in spring. 18:
Cool, the patio he built for our main house is featured on his Stone Works homepage!
On October 25th the Solaflect guys showed up with the 6 ton pad for the solar tracker.
The crew bolted in the two posts that will support the sixteen photovoltaic panels.
