20) Framing & Plan Changes- August '17
In August the crew began framing. Special trusses were used to support the four inches of concrete that will become the floor of the main level. The idea here is thermal mass. Radiant heat tubing will be embedded in the floor as well.

The bottle wall dimensions are 7 feet tall x 10 feet wide, 70 sq ft. The original design shown below shows 3 windows about 4' x 7' ( just 28' sq feet in area), substantially smaller. After some convincing we talked Tim and the crew into increasing it to about double the size.
